High wire adventures and zipline

Via Ferrata 

Seeking an epic family adventure activity? Join us on our family friendly tour suitable for adventurers aged 8 and over. This course starts off at ground level and teaches you the basic skills of Via Ferrata before you face the challenge of the ultimate High Wire Bridge, crossing the Quarry on a 70m long single strand of wire. Get ready to reach places you wouldn't normally be able to, escape the craziness of daily life and immerse yourself in the outdoors!  Duration approximately 1 to 1.5 hrs.  Parental Support - Adult support is essential. In this zone a responsible adult will not have to pay but must accompany the young person(s) at ground level. 

Adventure Zone (1.5 hr)

Looking for the ultimate adventure challenge? You will first complete the Adventure Zone and then progress to expand your limits. This route will take you to heights of 20 meters above our water filled quarry as you scale the cliffs, tackle the high challenges, conquer your fears and find your "matrix moment" leaping from the cliff edge on the zip wire finale.  Duration 2 to 3 hrs (if time allows, enjoy multiple zip wire rides).  Parental Support - Parental support is essential. A responsible adult must accompany the young person(s) around the Adventure Zone and Classic Tour as a full paying participant. Failure to supply a suitable adult will result in the young person(s) not being able to participate in the tour.

Classic Tour (3 hr)

Soar through our stunning historic quarry on a series of exhilarating zip wires and build confidence with every ride. Our dual zip offers double the fun as you launch off the quarry edge and fly round together! Part way through you’ll also experience the thrill of traversing along the cliff edge to get from one zip to the other, making this one of the most exciting zip wire experiences in the South West! 

Zip Wire Safari (1.5hr)

Coasteering brings the thrill of climbing and leaping into deep water together into an action packed aquatic adventure!  Here at Via Ferrata Cornwall we have taken the high adrenaline and hugely challenging coasteering sport and placed it in a controlled quarry environment. Here the weather and tide do not affect the activity, allowing you to practice your skills any time without constraints. There are different activity levels that lead you to reach the exhilaration of leaping from the highest platform. The session is fully immersive, so expect lots of swimming, jumping and climbing in all weathers.  Wet suits, buoyancy aids and helmets are provided, all you need are shoes to wear in the water (or wet suit boots), a swimming costume to wear under the wet suit and a towel. Coasteering

Learn to SUP! We'll introduce you to the basics of Stand Up Paddleboarding and you'll make amazing memories as you splash your way through our beautiful historic quarries! Be prepared for a dunking if it's your first time trying this one!  All necessary kit is provided, all you need are shoes to wear in the water (or wet suit boots), a swimming costume to wear under the wet suit, some spare clothes and a towel. You can also bring your own wetsuit if you have one - if not we will provide one for free if needed.  Can't see any dates that suit you? SUP Taster

Learn paddling technique and make amazing memories as you splash your way through our beautiful historic quarries! Try kayaking and canoeing and easily switch between the two.  All necessary kit is provided, all you need are shoes to wear in the water (or wet suit boots), a swimming costume to wear under the wet suit, some spare clothes and a towel. Kayaking/ Canoeing

Join us on a rock climbing adventure and make amazing memories!  Challenge yourself in this fun and exciting rock climbing session. Learn how to put on a harness and helmet and master different climbing techniques. Discover the thrill of reaching the top of the quarry wall and when feeling confident, join in with the fun challenges we have to offer on the rocks. Climbing

Become your very own Robin Hood and take on the target!!  We'll teach you the techniques of archery and help you develop your aim, before you get competitive with our team target games! You'll get to 'bake cakes', 'make pizza' and see who's the first to shoot GOLD for your team!  This activity is suitable for people 6 years and older.  Can't see any dates that suit you?
